Elyse Ribbons hails from the lovely city of Detroit though she is a Carolina girl at heart (Go Heels!). She has appeared on stage in a variety of productions, hosts the CRI radio show "Laowai Kandian" in Mandarin and was the number two "Chef God" in the TianJin TV show "International Chef God Competition".

Oh, and her real moment of fame came when she was picked as the official beach volleyball model for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
