顽皮猴子都做什么?

顽皮猴子戏剧社是在北京成立的一家戏剧公司，主要创作演出中文、英文及中英文混合的戏剧作品。顽皮猴子的第一部作品《我爱北京》于2006年秋天在798的HART 中心首演之后，2007年夏天《我爱北京》的第二轮演出获得了极大成功。

2008年春顽皮猴子推出了中英文双语话剧《风险英语》，最新的作品《绿眼睛识黑汉字》（中文）于2008年11月在愚公移山进行了试演，完善后的《绿眼睛识黑汉字》将于2009年4月下旬在蓬蒿剧场正式演出。此外顽皮猴子还创作了一系列短剧。

顽皮猴子还积极组织、参与北京地区的其他文化艺术活动。顽皮猴子成功发起并组织主办了《十分戏剧节》、《北京艺术漫步》等活动，也参与了如环保主题活动“点废变绿”、慈善活动、CIPA的大部分活动等等。顽皮猴子还被邀请参加了2008年的"Women in Business"论坛和2009年中小企业会议。

2008年9月起顽皮猴子迁至目前的四合院工作室。这里不仅有足够大的办公、排练空间，还有适宜艺术创作的气氛。顽皮猴子满载着创作的生机和热情，期待明天会更好。

Cheeky Monkey Productions is a theater company based in Beijing, China that performs original works in Mandarin, English and Chinglish. Created in the Autumn 2006 with the premier performance of I Heart Beijing at the HART Centre for the Arts in 798.

Following up with the second run of I Heart Beijing in the Summer of 2007, Cheeky Monkey then went on to create a sketch comedy series, Sketches and the play Lethal English (both a Mandarin and English version). The most recent show was the original production of the Mandarin play Green Eyes on Chinese performed at Yugong Yishan in November 2008 to rave reviews.

Cheeky Monkey has also produced the ShiFen Theater Festival and has sponsored several public arts and cultural events including Greening the Beige, CIPA events, Beijing artWALK, charity events and others. In 2008 Cheeky Monkey was also a special delegate at the Women in Business Conference.

As of September 2008 Cheeky Monkey has had its own rehearsal and office space, located in a traditional courtyard in downtown Beijing. Crew, Staff and Actors are also bilingual professionals from all over the world who are trained in a variety of stage arts and improvisational comedy.
