"Chinglish Chat" is a new theater series created by Elyse Ribbons and David Jacobi. The series is a collection of short theatrical pieces that are more than workshops, but less than plays. Adhering to this concept of "tiny theater," the serial plays are meant to be performed in parks, bars, and cafes rather than traditional theater spaces.

Sometimes socially relevant, often irreverent and always entertaining, look for "Chinglish Chat" at a non-theater near you!

Getting Back to Our Roots - Theatrically!

Cheeky Monkey has recently started to work with a sustainable farming group and orphanage with ChinaRedneck.org to organize and create dramatic learning activities and events at their outdoor theater space at an organic farm in the Changping District of Beijing. Keep your eyes open for fun Summer and Autumn events :)
